Spaceport America Competition

Successfully launched and recovered the 10k solid rocket my team and I built at the Spaceport America Cup

Technologies used: redundant coding techniques, applied physics, applied math
In collaboration with: SEDS UNLV

Technical report written by the SEDS UNLV team

Post-competition Goals

  • Development of stdudent-researched and developed (SRAD) motor (project and test-stand for it already started)
  • Develop gyroscopic rocket stabilization control algorithm (GRSCA) (project already started)

Major applause to UNLV SEDS for developing a rocketry club and successfully designing, manufacturing, and competing with a rocket in less than a year!
